About Us
The Lake Travis Youth Soccer Association (LTYSA) was
organized and incorporated in 1985 and falls under the charter
of the Capitol Area Youth Soccer Association (CAYSA). LTYSA is a
non-profit organization supported through player registration
fees, sponsorships, and donations. Our goal is to provide
positive opportunities for youth players of all skill levels to
participate in the sport of soccer.
LTYSA currently has 725 youths participating in the program
each fall and spring season. Participants range in age from 4
to18 years old, and we offer opportunites for both recreational
and select play. The program has seen incredible growth through
the efforts of inspired players, coaches, and volunteers.
All parent volunteers must have a current KidSafe badge on
file with LTYSA.

Purpose
The purpose of LTYSA shall be to teach, train, govern and
promote the game of soccer for junior players under 18 in
recreational and select competitive league play.
It is the intent of this organization to teach good
sportsmanship, educate and train all youth and adult
participants in the fundamentals of the game, promote the game
through sponsorship of the regularly scheduled competition, and
conduct other educational activities appropriate for youth
soccer.
Except as otherwise noted herein or where local conditions
prevent as determined by the Association, the Federation
Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) “Laws of the Game
and Universal Guide for Referees” will provide the basic rules
and regulations for the soccer games sponsored by the LTYSA.
Mission
It is the mission of LTYSA to provide the best possible
soccer experience for all players in the league. We will meet
this mission by:

Providing the
opportunity for all players to participate in all levels of
play including recreational and select.

Promoting
player development by providing an atmosphere that allows
each player to develop their skills to their desired level
of play in a fun, fulfilling environment

Providing, as
available, financial aid to those players that need
assistance

Promoting the
development of coaches by offering courses and resources
that will allow our coaches to further improve their skills

Promoting the
development of youth referees by offering instructional
courses and resources that will allow our referees to
further improve their skills.

Promoting a
respect for the game of soccer through fair play and good
sportsmanship.
